Craft Tip of the Day~~ How to Embroider Hard to Hoop Items

20 Mar

Sometimes there are items that you want to stitch that just don’t fit right in your hoop.  So how do you hoop them? Another great use for  Hydro- Stick Tear away stabilizer!!  I really do love this product!!!

Here is a quick tutorial on hooping items that don’t hoop well.

Grab your Hydro- Stick Tear away stabilizer and cut off a piece  to fit on your hoop.

Hoop just the  Hydro- Stick Tear away stabilizer

Wet a wash cloth with water and rub the area in the hoop so that the stabilizer becomes sticky

Stick the fabric that you want to embroider to the sticky stabilizer.

I like to mark the center of the item so that way I know  where my center point is.

Attach your hoop to your machine.

Line up your needle with your center point on your fabric and you are ready to stitch!

When you have completed your design, just pull off the sterilizer as normal

This superb racing car accelerates to a whopping 75 mph
