Thursdays Craft Tip~~ A Magnet

17 May

This probably the simplest tip yet,

but I never think of it when this happens!!

Have you ever spilled your sewing pin box!!

OH MAN!!  I HATE IT when that happens!!

Pins all over the floor and it seems like

it takes days to pick them all up.

Yes, I probably have more pins than I need,

but  I think I “need” them!

Why don’t I ever think to keep a magnet

in my sewing area!  So simple put the

magnet over the pins and they are picked up for you!!

I’m going to go find a magnetic right now…..

You should to!!

A bingo wand works great! I keep one stuck to the leg of my cutting table.

I use a magnet that telescopes out that you buy at a hardware store. It has a strong magnet used for retrieving tools, works great & little bending over.

I bought a magnetic parts holder at an automotive place, it was a couple bucks and is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my sewing area! here’s a link to one that is similar to what I bought. http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-magnetic-parts-holder-97825.html
