About Me

Thank you all so much for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me and what I do.Everyone has their story and I sure have mine, I would love to hear your stories and exchange ideas and thoughts.
A little bit about me.

I grew up in Chicago. Illinois with a hard working and creative mom. I had drama growing up, more then some, not nearly as much as others but I occupied my time by getting crafty, working at Joannes and opening Hobby Lobbies across the nation. My mom taught me to love to sew and I am so thankful. As I have grown up my passion for creativity has never gone. I am so happy to be able to share my joys in life with you.

I am the wife of a fire fighter and have many nights of worry and alone time which allows me to keep my hands busy, making designs for you. He works 3 jobs just to make ends meet. It is very important to us that I stay at home to raise our children.  So I am trying to bring in a little extra money so he may have a little time with his family!

My Mom suffers from Parkinson’s and I so desire to help her as much as possible so some of my proceeds are going to research on this. What illnesses are you impacted by in your life? I would love to donate 1% every month to a new charity. Help me decide what those will be.Thank you all so much again for joining me in life and the interest in homemade joys. Please if you do not see what you want let me know I can make it for you. If you love the idea of crafting but do not have the time or machinery to do so I can do it for you, it just takes a bit longer as I am chasing after 2 very busy kids!Have a simply sweet and crafty day!

    Hi Brandi,
I found your posts so helpful. I’m just starting out with embroidery so I know I will utilize site often.
Also, I admire that you stay home and take care of your little ones and work so hard to subsidize the household income and donate to a very worthy cause. . I also have great respect for firefighters and their families. God Bless all of you!
    Happy New Year!
